DC  SCANDINAVIAN DANCE GROUPS

With all the Scandinavian activities in the greater Washington metropolitan area it is possible to lead a Scandinavian-only lifestyle here, including dancing!  There are two Saturday evening social dances (with lessons) and the Nordic Dancers' lessons and practice on Wednesday evenings. The Nordic Dancers have several performance during the year, one being at the ASA Christmas Festival.      

3rd Saturdays: 7:30 pm - 11 pm, Scandia DC (Scandinavian Couple Dancing). Third Saturday monthly dance at the Greenbelt Community Center (Dance Studio), 15 Crescent Rd, Greenbelt, MD. Near the intersection of I-495 & G-W Pkwy. Teaching: 7:30-8:00 Beginners; 8:00-9:00 Featured dance. Nordic Dancers of Washington, DC: Most Wednesdays: 7:30 pm, at Highland View Elementary, 9010 Providence Ave., Silver Spring, MD. Beginners welcome! No partner necessary. For info contact Chris Kalke at ckalke@verizon.net
